The Spanish composer and conductor Òscar Colomina i Bosch was announced as new Director of Music of the Yehudi Menuhin School, becoming the sixth Director of Music of the internationally renown specialist music school founded by Lord Menuhin in 1963 in Surrey, England.
Jairo Barrull Flamenco Company present ‘El Llanto Se Mueve’ (The Cry Moves) on the 7th May 2016 at The Mercury Theatre. When New Wave music in America detached itself from punk rock in the 70s, there were many who started to label it. At the time it was bands like Blondie and The B-52´s who started something that was defined by the attitude and style of a generation rather than by music itself.
We talked to Daniel Cross, one of the directors of TAPE Music, a London music management company, about the reasons behind opening an office in Spain, the bands his company manages and where the industry is heading. But most of all, we talked about our mutual passion — music.

This month, the Spanish theatre production company, Ron Lalá, took its new performance ‘Somewhere in the Quijote’ to the Riverside Studios on the banks of the Thames in Hammersmith as part of the second Festival of Spanish Theatre in London. The festival was initiated last year by Mariví Rodríguez Quiñones, University lecturer of Spanish at King’s College, with the aim of promoting Spanish theatre in the UK.
Hundreds of attendees flocked to Scala to enjoy almost two hours of live music in a concert where they played their greatest hits and unveiled their new album.
