The Other Art Fair it’s a With bi-annual fairs strongly established in London, The Other Art Fair has grown both in the UK and abroad with editions now in Bristol and Sydney. Four Spanish artists showcase their work this year: Carmen M. Castañeda, Franciso J. Jiménez, Elena García de la Fuente and Alejandra Corral.
Ichor, it is a three-person exhibition at Danielle Arnaud gallery which brings together the work of Robert Cervera, Katarina Hruskova and Alix Marie. Considering the collaborative exhibition and its contained ecosystem as a frame narrative, the works question the porosity of living bodies, objects, products and informations.
For this exhibition Juan delGado travelled to Greece, Macedonia and Calais to record the journeys taken by refugees. delGado has not filmed these ‘invisible’ people but the places they have passed through and the traces of their existence they have left.
Post-war Spain was a culturally complex nation. Bitter with its memories of the Civil War – itself a legacy of the little known Carlist Wars of the 19th century – and divided by the regime of Francisco Franco. With Western politics focused on the USSR and its satellite states, Franco felt secure with his nationalist (anti-communist) stance. When the painter, Carlos Puente de Ambrosio, was born in Santander in 1950, the society he entered was in a state of flux.
In February, contemporary Colombian artist, Santiago Montoya, presented ‘Money Talks’, his forthcoming exhibition at Halcyon Gallery, London.

This is the third Ordovas exhibition devoted to Eduardo Chillida and the monumental works to be shown in the gallery at 25 Savile Row reflect the intimate and universal themes that characterised his vision.
Pedro Font Alba is one of the fifty Spanish artists portrayed in ‘Art On The Move’. I had met this lively and energetic architect in several cultural events around London because he is one of the co-founders of SCAN (Spanish Contemporary Art Network), a platform that promotes Spanish artists where he is doing a remarkable job.
On 25 February 2016, contemporary Spanish artist, Ernesto Cánovas, will present ‘Multiplied’, his forthcoming exhibition at Halcyon Gallery, London. This brand new series of work uses large scale mix-media on wood panel painting as part of Cánovas’ ongoing exploration into cinema, abstraction and found imagery.
