The cultural program 12miradas, which promotes Art and Creativity, presents its first international workshop in New Jersey (USA) hosted by  Mana Contemporary NJ led by Galician artist Antonio Murado who is living in New York for over 20 years. Supported by Riverside (Hijos de Rivera Corporation). This workshop is open to Spanish and US citizens from all over the world or residents either of the two countries. The program is aimed at visual and decorative arts professionals and will run from 4 to 9 October this year.  Deadline for applications: July 31st 2019.

The María José Jove Foundation has announced its inaugural Art Therapy Applications Research and Essay Award, an initiative which aims to contribute to the study, awareness, and use of art as a therapeutic tool while also hoping to encourage an interdisciplinary approach to current thinking on the matter.

The collection’s director, Susana González, is the one who set this huge challenge, entering the fray to tackle this complex subject – one which concerns many sensitive issues, not only in the fields of therapy and art, but also human emotion itself.
