Le Dame Art Gallery at Meliá White House presents TOYS , the first solo exhibition by the Spanish artist Rubén Fuentes Fuertes. The exhibition, which has been curated by Miguel Mallol, will take place at theMeliá White House in London from December, the 10th 2015 to January, the 7th 2016.
Mannequins, people, objects: all of them are given the same importance in MANIfashion. The dreamy eyes of the mannequins trigger our imagination in the same way as the sensuous women in Hernandez’s fashion shoots or the tomatoes confronting each other in one of his still lives. All of them are seen by the same eyes, the piercing eyes of Lorenzo Hernandez.
ARTROOMS Contemporary Art Fair is an innovative concept of art exhibition, which embraces talented and emerging artists offering to all of them the opportunity to exhibit their artworks in an intimate dimension, shortening the distance between artists, curators and visitors.
Suited and booted, the artist Pedro Paricio looks like he’s come straight out of a scene from Reservoir Dogs. Born in 1982 in Tenerife in the Canary Islands, he is young, talented and now successful too. After working dozens of different jobs in pursuit of realising his dream of painting, he now lives off his art. And he lives well, at that.
London’s Royal Academy of Art presents one of the most anticipated exhibitions of the year; a survey of the work created by the artist, designer, architect and activist Ai Weiwei, who is renowned for engaging with social issues in China ranging from State corruption, the defence of human rights and the conservation of cultural heritage. Ai’s ongoing clashes with the Pekín regime (in which censorship is commonplace) have cost him both his privacy and freedom as he has been put under surveillance, government restrictions and house arrest. He has also been the victim of assault and even imprisonment under such disparate charges as tax invasion and bigamy. Since his 81-day confinement in 2011, the artist has been unable to leave his own country, yet exhibitions of his work have been appearing all over the world.

Plastic Seas is a collaboration between Susana Sanroman and Maria Jose Arceo that will be addressing the impact of waste on our environment though a combination of performance collaboration, film projections and a fund-raising event for Cancer Research & the eXXpedition’s education package program that has been included in the Spain Now! 2015 Festival’s program of events and endorsed & promoted by ArtCOP21 “Visual Arts and Exhibitions”
This exhibition shows José-María Cano’s latest series of encaustic paintings, all of wich take as their subject the mysterious surface of our planet’s solitary moon, are expresions of longing, spiritualy and awe at the ultimate unknowability of the universe and of the life itself.
Spanish Artist José Carlos Naranjo (Villamartín, Cádiz-1983) is one of the ten artists shortlisted for the Griffin Art Prize 2015. A showcase exhibition of their works will be held at the Griffin Galleryfrom Thursday November 19 to December 19 2015. Judges Emma Crichton-Miller, Jenni Lomax, Jenny Linden-Urnes and Stuart Semple will meet at Griffin Gallery to select the winner who will be announced at the exhibition Private View on Wednesday November 18.
