‘Nights at the Circus’ by Fauve Alice, a fantastic production with an inclusive cast

by Brit Es Magazine

In a post apocalyptic world the circus is forced to continue its show every night, on and on into the future. As the night plays out the circus performers slip between their on stage personas and the person they dream to be; trapped by their own desires and lusting after new sensations.

The costume and props design for the production is by Ppula Duplex, a creative collective specialising in art direction, costume design, and styling for theatre, fashion, film and performance. Isabel Castro Jung is one of the members of this collective.

The production has been devised in collaboration with an inclusive cast of both learning disabled and non-disabled artists exploring sex, desire and violence. Co-produced by Fauve Alice and Spare Tyre. Funded by Arts Council England.
