For another year IberoDocs Film Festival is back to celebrate its 3rd edition having a great programme, special events, opening and closing receptions, and parties.
London Spanish Film Festival 6th Spring Weekend it is here bringing UK premieres and special previews as well as veteran film-makers Fernando Colomo, Félix Sabroso and Julio Medem, who will come from Spain to talk to audiences about their most recent works. The screenings will take place at Ciné Lumière and The May Fair Theatre at The May Fair Hotel. Save the dates! From 14th to 17th April 2016.
The Argentine Film Festival in London

The Argentine Film Festival, London, was launched in 2012 in partnership with Picturehouse Cinemas to provide a unique showcase for the best contemporary cinema from and about Argentina.
The UK’s only music documentary festival returns to London for its second edition with another program of films and Q&As. Starting today and until the 4 October the festival will screen a whole host of World, European, UK and London premieres at its brand new home, Picturehouse Central. This year the festival features two Brit Es films we are really excited about; the UK premiere of the the intimate ‘Paco de Lucia: A Journey’ directed by his son Curro Sánchez and ‘The nightingale and the night’ the breathtaking stories of Mexican singer Chavela Vargas and Spanish poet Federico Garcia Lorca.
Filmmaker Isabel Coixet will present her film ‘Learning to Drive’ on Sunday 27 September at Regent Street Cinema in Central London at London Spanish Film Festival. The screening will be preceded by a unique on-stage conversation between her and Prof. María Delgado (Queen Mary University).

24 – 30 September 2015. Once again and for the 11th year, the London Spanish Film Festival returns with a selection of some of the best recent films from Spain including feature films as well as documentaries and shorts. This year some of the feature films (marked **) will be in competition and the winner will be decided by a Jury: Art Curator Andrew Dempsey, Vanity Fair’s journalist Bridget Arsenault, film producer Frank Mannion and actors Nickolas Grace and Charles Dance.
Documentary cinema is returning to Scotland with the second instalment of Iberodocs, the Ibero-American Documentary Film Festival. The festival aims to foster intercultural integration and to encourage audiences to reflect upon the concept of identity. And judging from this year’s programme, all manner of individual and collective identities will feature upon the screens of the Filmhouse in Edinburgh and the Centre for Contemporary Arts in Glasgow from May 14th to 24th.
In celebration of the inauguration of Iberodocs’ second season, we have arranged to meet with one of the festival’s foremost figures and a vital player in making the event a reality: Isabel Moura Mendes. An arts manager with a heritage that is half Cape Verdean, half Portuguese, she is this year’s programme curator for the Lusophone strand of films at the Iberodocs festival.
