Two paintings of London based artist Elena García de la Fuente have been selected and shortlisted for The Lynn Painter-Stainers Prize 2016.

The Lynn Painter-Stainers Prize was created in 2005 by the Worshipful Company of Painter-Stainers and the Lynn Foundation to encourage the very best creative representational painting and promote the skill of draftsmanship. The Prize is one of the most prestigious awards to artists in the UK. The range and quality of artists entering and exhibiting in the exhibition have grown each year and its reputation amongst artists is outstanding.

We are happy to know that two paintings of London based artist Elena García de la Fuente have been selected and shortlisted for The Lynn Painter-Stainers Prize 2016. The two paintings selected are ‘Enough’ and ‘I Wish I Brought My Glasses, both are part of her series of oils ‘Looking at Art’ where Elena explores how people act at the museum, focusing on those who observe the master pieces and how they look at it.
